The place had an old world feel to it, and it's huge, but no worries there are plenty of people working there! they are known for their burgers and now I know why. Really good burger cooked to perfection and at a reasonable price to boot. I definitely recommend the onion rings. They are beer battered yum! This place is a little gem!

Classic burger joint. This is an old school baseball, horse racing, and burger bar. Enjoy the baseball talk, check out the great pics around the walls. This place tells the great history linking St Petersburg and baseball. Order Burger, wings, and cold beer - cannot go wrong. Come relaxed and leave happy.

Had such a great experience at El Cap! The staff were super friendly, and the service made everything feel easy and relaxed. The ambiance is chill. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and even though there was a short wait (less than 15 minutes), it went by quickly. Worth the wait, in my opinion. The Triple play BLT sandwich was so good, maybe it was a little nostalgia, but every bite was so satisfying. Definitely planning to come back soon when in the area!

Great place, one of my faves in St Pete! Honestly. Truly. Are we up to the required number yet? Why is there a minimum? Shouldn't I be able to say 'they were great' and be done with it??

What a great little hidden gem. The staff are beyond friendly. Food was fresh and very flavorful. They had sports on too. The smash burger was a great hit. Onion rings were cooked to perfection.

Small restaurant bar but Dennis the bartender so nice and Refreshing. My hubby Ordered bacon cheese burger. Nice and charred on the outside, juicy in the middle. Order of fries hot and fresh! I got the BLT plenty of bacon and everything else nice and fresh. We will definitely be back for great food and awesome service!

I stopped in around lunch time for 1 thing only...the burger. I was pressed for time & starving. I didn't get a chance to really scout the menu so I had only the burger & fries. I only added cheese, lettuce & tomato and it was actually good no condiments just a good burger. I will return and sit in. I like the diner style decor mixed with nostalgic news articles and remarks to Tampa sports. The service was pretty cut and dry bc I knew what I wanted but they all welcomed me once I walked in. Again I will be returning.

**** Review 140 **** Great local sports bar, friendly staff and good food. This place is always pretty packed. Burgers are resonantly priced, but it can be a longer wait. Beer is cold and lots of TV's for watching sports. If you're looking for a good lunch and a cold drink then this is the place for you.
